World Karst Museum

Karst Museum Indonesia located at Gebangharjo, Pracimantoro, it's approximately 40 km east of Yogyakarta. Was opened to the public in early June 2010. Claimed as the first karst museum in Southeast Asia, an area of 5000 square meter museum is expected to be the information center of things about karst. Here are seven caves in the surrounding area of the museum, so visitors can learn directly about the karst in the caves.

The first floor of the building provides visual tools such as pictures, photographs, drawings and writings to explain the origin of the karst that is formed thousands years ago. Also there are several pieces of rock and even a piece of karst stalactites and stalagmites.

Ground floor building with a broader view several dioramas and replicas of complete cave. There is also an explanation using a visual tool that illustrates the flow of water until it reaches the karst area and flows into the various areas.
